The first step is to contact a Data Management Solutions representative to allow us to schedule an appointment to review your needs.

Then the following steps will be followed to assure your data environment needs are appropriately addressed.

Step 1 :: Assess the Need

A Brinex representative will come to your site with a Database Expert, meet with your technology team, and gather information about the data environment, future state, and business drivers.

Initial Consultation

The initial consultation is always free!
The initial meeting will allow us to identify your business drivers, pain points, concerns, and allow us to determine how we can confront them effectively.
Our Database Expert(s) will ask a variety of questions to help gain a better understanding of your overall environment, vision for the company, mission, and immediate to long term needs.
The information will establish a foundation from which we can build a true service or solution offering that is custom to your organizations needs that will continue to offer cost savings.
The initial meeting will be 60-90 minutes depending on the size of your environment and needs. We will discuss your needs, describe and/or demonstrate Brinex services and solutions, and determine if a partnership is right for you. This meeting will help your organization immediately realize our value add.
Our consulting mindset enables us to educate, consult, and advise on potential solutions that might benefit your organization in reaching goals. At this first meeting, it is our intent to have all key decision makers present in order to faciliate defining a clear path of understanding and allowing us to showcase our solutions.

Environment Assessment

The next meeting after it is agreed upon to move forward, a Brinex Database Expert will log into each server, instance, and database-in an after hours capacity-with your technology team to review setup, optimizations, environment, etc.
Brinex will provide a full assessment:
- Identifying areas for improvement
- Successes in your current environment
- Potential areas of failure
- Ideas for disaster recovery if none exist or options for strengthening your current plan if one exists

Step 2 :: Define the Scope

Utilizing the information gained in the assessment our organizations can partner to identify the necessary scope of services or solutions. Not all organizations need our complete offering and may only require execution of simple tasks; however, we are capable of complete data environment management.

Choosing the right package will enable your organization to clearly benefit from the On Demand DBA services.

Step 3 :: Establish a Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Service Level Agreements are necessary to the stakeholders in understanding the expectations and boundaries in the partnership we are forming. Our agreements are precise, measurable, and realistic. Brinex will work with your technology and management team to choose the appropriate service level necessary to support your business and not provide a canned solution.

Our Service Level Agreements (SLA) clearly define the following:

Scope of the service (What we provide).
Escalation Procedures and Contact Information (How we will deliver, escalate, and communicate).
Processes and procedures for using our Incident Tracking System (ITS) (How we will communicate and measure success).
Area for addressing issues if we fail to provide the services requested in a timely manner (How will penalties be assessed if we do not deliver as promised).
