Brinex to utilize Amazon EC2 and Amazon S3

St. Louis, MO - Brinex announced today a new service offering using Amazon's new suite of tools beginning with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and Amazon Simple Storage Solution (Amazon S3). The combined offering will enable additional benefits for Brinex customers in supplying low cost development, configuration and integration, quality assurance, staging, production, and contingency/disaster recovery solutions. The environments can be setup as accessible only as needed or function as production environments with 100% availability.

Over the past few years, Amazon has been working to increase capacity and open the EC2 environment in making it practical to use at a low cost. Recently, Amazon added the ability to image servers that contain Windows and SQL Server. Brinex's core model is focused on Microsoft technologies and the addition of a low cost infrastructure that is scalable made cloud computing a desirable environment.
